6 months already

I'm back from my puppy swap and growing like a weed. Mom must have missed me because we had to have a photo shoot for my 6 month birthday. I think my feathers are coming in quite nicely. What a difference a month makes!

Puppy Swap

I'm going to Halo's house this week. Before I left I got to spend some time with Halo's little sister Frisco. She is very sweet! I look huge next to her. I will be 6 months next Monday. My tail feathers are coming in so I'm not so shy to show you my tail. See ya when I get back home.

Dog Tired

I need a vacation from my vacation. I spent a few days with the Conroys and boy am I tired. We went to a basketball game, learned about popcorn,a cheer leading competition, a hockey game and even to do their taxes. Jasmine is the dog that lives at the house. My friend Disney used to live there too but she's gone south to learn to be a therapy dog. I had so much fun. I hope I get to to go to that house again. Aussie was very glad to see me and gave me a good sniff to enjoy all my travel too.

Winterblast

It was a sunny day and not sub-zero so I went downtown with Mom. We went to a festival with ice carvings, music, food and lots of people. I like watching the people skate. The music tent was too loud for my baby ears. Then went on this thing called the people mover. I was very nervous and did not like the noise and the vibration. We stayed on for a long time. People got on & off but I still had to ride. After a while It wasn't so scary. I got lots of cookies and many people talked to me and told me how pretty and smart I was.When I was calm & happy our stop finally came. I was glad to be going home. That's enough adventure for one day.

A full weekend of fun

I'm having so much fun learning and visiting new places. Saturday I went to a rib & blues fest. Rumor & Ukon were there too. Mom let me lick her hands and face after she ate some ribs. Yummy! Miss Jane spoils me too much. I wasn't that cold.Sunday I went to play at Rumor's house. I play nice with her. It's my sister that I like to bother.
Today I went to a school to take some photo's with the kids. We're getting ready for reading month in March. Everyone say Milkbone!

Feeling Bad

Today I went to the doctor and got something called spayed. I'm not feeling good at all. My belly is tender, I'm queasy and just don't feel right. I'm moaning and whiny. My doctor says it's part of the anesthesia. I just know it feels rotten! Mom & Aussie are taking good care of me but I just want to lay in my bed. I've got good pain medicine. Hope it helps. Tomorrow will be better. I'm not having any fun.

Bowling adventure

Mom took me to a very strange place! It was kind of dark. It had lots of loud noises and smelled like smoke & pizza. There were all these people rolling balls down a slippery floor. Mom put on some funny smelling shoes and told me we were bowling. I wasn't sure about all those big balls. I didn't want to get too close to them. And the floor was very slippery. I couldn't hardly stay sitting.After a while I wasn't so scared and started to enjoy it. I like to watch when they throw those balls. No one was allowed to fetch. They came back on their own like magic. I cheered Mom on S-T-R-I-K-E and laughed with her when most went in the gutter. I guess this is one more thing I had to learn before I go to school. Can we go home now? Its dinner time.
